How is Jigsaw@work different?

Here are just some of the ways in which Jigsaw@work differs from other training and development tools and systems.
Jigsaw@work:
- Is not a psychometric test, or even a test of any kind.
- Is not paper-based, it is used in an interactive workshop environment.
- Does not focus on theory, but instead on practical applications.
- Does not provide participants with a lengthy written report to decipher, but with an in-depth level of self awareness and with tools and techniques that they can use immediately.
- Does not pigeonhole individuals, but acknowledges that people have the ability to be flexible in their approach by accessing different behavioural and thinking styles in different situations.
- Is very simple to use and understand, despite having powerful, far reaching effects.
- Is enjoyable and enables interactivity between participants.
- Does use fictional characters to bring alive and illustrate personality types in a light hearted manner that avoids finger pointing.
- Does go further than most discovery models by helping participants to anticipate the preferences and reactions of others.
- Does highlight how many of us suppress the natural dominance of our personalities and illustrates the stress that this can cause.
